  • OASIS EVERYWHERE   An Introduction to Auras (Zoom)  Have you ever wondered what an aura is? What does your air look like?  The aura is an electro-magnetic field of subtle, luminous radiation supposedly surrounding or emanating from a person or object (like the halo or aureole of religious art). The aura is associated with the physical body and the energy fields that are around the body. In this class we will explore what auras are, how they are affected by our physical health, our state of mind, and can be used as a source of information about our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Our aura is related to the chakras.   store.oasiseverywhere.org/ + View Classes + auras

  • OASIS San Diego  Confucius and the Harmonious Society  Class No. 1316 (In-Person La Mesa)  Arguably the most influential philosopher in the world, Confucius championed a compelling portrait of human excellence as social responsibility. In order to create a just and harmonious society, we must first cultivate excellent individuals. In alignment with Aristotle and the precepts of Judaism, Confucius taught that justice, order, and righteousness are born through us. It is we who bring the mandate of heaven down to earth through our choices and actions. Join us as we study the central themes of this often-ignored wisdom tradition, and search its ancient ideas for modern applicability.  san-diego.oasisnet.org + Classes + Search 1316

  • OASIS San Diego  What Is Christian Nationalism? Class No. 2225 (In-Person Rancho Bernardo)  Christian nationalism isn’t exactly new, but in many important ways it’s gaining ground and establishing itself as a force to be reckoned with. Simply put, Christian nationalism is a political movement rooted in the idea that the United States is a divinely ordained nation and ought to be re-organized along explicitly Christian lines. In its most extreme form it is openly theocratic, working toward a one-religion nation where the state and Evangelical Protestant Christianity become a unified force. Critics of this movement, both inside and outside Christianity, have questions, for example, “Is Christian nationalism even Christian?” Join us as we explore this burgeoning conflict in the body politic of America.   san-diego.oasisnet.org + Classes + Search 2225
