  • OASIS EVERYWHERE  The Afterlife: Biblical Views and Beyond  The Hebrew Bible does not “believe” in any form of afterlife. Death is final and nothing happens after death. However, in post biblical times, all three monotheistic religions developed ideas about a continuation in one form or another after death. Thus, afterlife can be called also “life after death.” Hints for these ideas do appear in the Bible. In our session we will review some common ideas about the afterlife, we will discuss some questions that these beliefs present, and see whether there are sufficient answers to these questions.
